OUR LIFE'S REWARD
God's will is inside of every living soul
It is the catalyst that will bring us to His face to behold.
To do His will we must learn to listen
To the still quiet voice most are missin'.
We must understand that free will is God's gift to us
When used properly it is to become our impetus.
When our free will is directed to Its source
It will shepherd us back onto the proper course.
Our Dear Lord knows how easy it is for us to stray
That is why with our free will we should daily pray.
When it is in God's will we learn to cede
It will become his Word we will long to heed.
Doing God's will is not supposed to be easy or hard
It is to become the fulfillment of our life'd reward...
THE POWER TO CHANGE
The power to change is a prayer away
When you learn the proper words to say.
For God to understand that our words are true
It can only be heart felt words that will do.
Our Lord does not want us as strangers to be
He did create us each for His face to see.
To accomplish this nearly impossible task
We must relinquish everyone of our Earthly mask.
God does see through every disguise that we wear
And the last mask removed must leave us entirely bare.
That is how we are to approach God in our nakedness and shame
Humbly confessing to Him our sins that we are to blame.
From this point on there will be no more to confess
For it is a humble heart God always will bless.
With God's blessing you will understand something new
That the power to change has always abided in you.
It is only when you seek God's help devoid of human pride
Do you learn that from His sight you never need to hide...
OUR GUIDING LIGHT
Just as the moon shines directly by light of the sun
We too are illuminated by the works Christ has done.
Jesus Christ is the bridge between God and man
He is the direct link we must come to understand.
This union is to be built on a rock solid foundation
By means of trust and Love without reservation.
A renewing of the Spirit, a warming of the heart
All show us Christ's work has begun to start.
Christ did show us He is the way
He taught us it is God's will we must obey.
To follow Him we must always live in truth
Have Love for one another and experience ruth.
For Christ to become our guiding Light
We must never lose him from our sight...
A FAMILY OF ONE
We are all responsible for sending Christ to the cross
By allowing sin to accumulate in us much dross.
What a heavy price Our Dear Lord was forced to pay
To cleanse us of the impurities we gather along the way.
How precious our souls must be to Our Lord
To subjudge Himself to crucifixion on our accord.
This is what a Loving God has done for us
To forgive our sins and gather us back to His trust.
Yet some are still unthankful and most unwise
For the name of God they do despise.
With no love in your heart it is impossible to see
The mercy God has already extended for you and me.
If Christ's death is not to be in vain
It is God's will we must obtain.
God's will is that we Love one another
Treat every living soul as a sister or brother.
When we learn to live as a family of One
Then Christ can say His work here is done...
FAITH IS A TOOL
Faith is a tool we must use and pass on
If not handled with this respect one day it willbe gone.
To apply faith it must be incorporated into your life style
Not something for you to manipulate every once in a while.
For faith to be of an everlasting value to you
It must come from a source that is reliable true.
Faith is a gift from Our Dear Lord above
It is true manifestation of His never ending Love.
The opportunity to have faith is available to all
You must simply respond to Our Father's call.
For God will call to us, yes He will call everyone
And give us the opportunity to let His will be done.
Faith is always a choice never something forced on you
It is by your free will you decide on what to do.
You can live your own and dig an Earthly grave
Or with Faith resurrect to Christ and be saved...
HIS FACE TO SEE
May we content ourselves in doing God's will
For He posses vast treasures that only He can fill.
In doing God's will it will entitle us to
All the riches He has stockpiled in Heaven for you.
By doing thing on your own we may accumulate
Earthly Treasures
But in time they will be only short lived pleasures.
For the wealth God offers is of the everlasting kind
Not at all akin to the Earthly one's we seek to find.
God's realm is to be realized in Eternity
And the riches of all rewards is for His face to see...
OBEY GOD'S COMMANDEMENTS
It is a part of God's teachings, it is a part of His rules
To love one another and stop acting as fools.
Fools come in many shapes, they have many sizes
They conceal themselves behind innumerable disguises.
Foolish people live life completely seperate from the Lord
As for His commandements they hold no regard.
If the human being could be substantive and live life on its own
Our Lord and Our God would have left us here all alone.
But that is not the case,that's not how it could ever be
We must learn to surrender completely to God's sovereignty.
If man is given control and assumes full authority
His ego will take over and bring about some catastrophe.
The down fall will come about through anger, pride,or greed
Whatever,you can be sure God's Word he did not heed.
God's rules are given to us for our own protection and good
He knew we would need guidance to live life as we should.
If this human race is to survive and propagate
We must eliminate foolish pride and hate.
When we relinquish control and live life in God's way
We will find we will have no more commandments to obey...
ONE SOUL AT A TIME
God's works are to be accomplished with one soul at a time
For He has instilled in each of us an interesting paragigm.
It is a pattern of living, a way to obtain Spiritual growth
It is as solemn as a vow, it is scared as an oath.
When we see that one soul as being you or I
We will understand that we have no more time to let escape by.
For when God calls that one soul to be a service for His work
We will have the choice to obey or from Him we can shirk.
Service to Our Lord begins as an act of free will
We must be willing to do any assignment He sees fit for us to fill.
The fears that we are inadequate will all slip away
When it is in His will we learn to trust in and obey.
God will teach us all we need to do
He will set before us a road that is adventurously new.
Faith will propel us forward,it will show us how to proceed
It will keep us bound in Christ, and He will give us all we need
With one soul at a time we will form a vast cartel
One in which the Holy Spirit will enter upon and dwell...
THE LOVE OF GOD ABIDES IN YOU
When God's Love becomes more important than any problems you posses
You will find your life turn around that you will end up bless.
For his Love can oversee any troubles that come your way
It will lead you back tothe path from which you did stray.
If Love is to be a priority you must put God first
For HE is the source that will quench this driving thirst.
When you have satisfied your needs to always be in God's care
You will find that your problems have vanished into thin air.
We are all God's children and He will know just what to do
To bring you to the place where He is waiting for you.
As you encounter God as you walk upon this earth
His Love will bring about your resurrection to a new birth.
To be born again means to live a life that is completely new
It is to experience the Love of God that is abiding in you...
GOD IS NOT AN OPTION
God is not an option for you topick and choose
You must absolutely serve our Lord or totally refuse.
For there is no middle ground from which to hem and haw
If this is where you are coming from His Love he will withdraw.
If God is to be given all proper and due respect
Sin is what we must eliminate and vehemently reject.
God and sin cannot occupy the exact same place
For when one is present the other will be erased.
If we choose to live in sin than it is God we mush shun
We will be living a life that will not allow His will to be done.
If you stop and look around you will see this happening today.
And,Oh my God,what a terrible price this is for us to pay...
